Hey gang, Just curious. Some of us are talking on vt and we were thinking of cool names for the baby. So what do you guys think? If it is a boy what name do you suggest? And if it is a girl? then what? let's see some names. Taa taa!

Post 2 by Lieutenant Commander La Forge (01) on Friday, 08-Dec-2006 23:01:45

Hey its me again. My name choices are: for a boy, Wesley, and for a girl: Deanna

Post 3 by maddog (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Friday, 08-Dec-2006 23:03:48

well, as I suggested to Liz and James, Ather would be quite a wonderful name for a child! However, they didn't seem to take me seriously *sobs* but let's see what Mark will do.

If it's a girl, how about sage and if it's a boy, Tyler

Wait...who's baby? Aaron, are you going to have a child? If so...that's amazingly awesome and I want to be its, like, godsister or something lol.

Post 7 by tunedtochords (Zone BBS is my Life) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 1:47:46

Caitlin, it's Mark's (Mark) and Allie's (Orange Dolphin Spirit) baby.:) As for names... Hmm. I always liked the simpler names. For a girl, Kate or Elizabeth, maybe... A boy... Hmm, I don't know.

dude mark and alley already came up with a name for the baby. I can't remember exactly what it was, but they believe it's a girl, it will have the name alejandra as the middle name and of course dolzadeli, but I just can't remember the first name...

Post 9 by OrangeDolphinSpirit (Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 6:33:45

Yes, if it's a girl, she'll be Gabriella Alejandra Dolzadelli. If it's a boy he'll be Markus (whatever we decide for the middle name) Dolzadelli. Any suggestions?

Post 10 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 12:38:33

How about for a middle name, Camerin? I like the sound of that, Markcus Camerin Dolzadelli

Post 11 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 12:44:58

Mark, if you ever take Sharrie's suggestion of using Camerin as a middle name seriously, I'll have to disown you as a friend. The only two Camerin's I know on this site are Shark and guitar god sleeze bag so as you see, Camerin is not a good start in life! *LOL*

Personally I like Markus George junior!

Dan.

Post 12 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 19:43:02

How about Marcus Benjamin?
Congrats on the baby, btw! I love babies. Aww.

Post 13 by OrangeDolphinSpirit (Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?) on Saturday, 09-Dec-2006 21:02:29

Awww, thanks, Caitlin.
And Dan, we already have a George (two, in fact) in my family, hence why I want to come up with something different.

Marcus Andrew Dolzadeli?

Post 15 by Chris N (I just keep on posting!) on Sunday, 10-Dec-2006 2:25:13

Does that mean the child would be constantly MAD?

Post 16 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Sunday, 10-Dec-2006 14:54:18

I don't think they want a a middle name starting with the letter A cause of the hole Mad thing.

Post 17 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Sunday, 10-Dec-2006 20:25:22

Awwww but it's a cute name, lol.

Post 18 by OrangeDolphinSpirit (Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?) on Monday, 11-Dec-2006 10:05:20

Yes, it is cute. And Sharie's right. I'm against giving our child initials that make up a word. You're funny, Chris. LOL.

Post 19 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Monday, 11-Dec-2006 17:34:35

What about Marcus Hunter or Marcus Nathaniel?

Post 20 by The Luggage (Zone BBS Addict) on Tuesday, 12-Dec-2006 12:35:48

How about Joshua. I probably spelt that wrong, but hey. He'd be MJ to his friends.

If it's a girl, I reckon Lee.

Matt

Post 24 by OrangeDolphinSpirit (Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how popular it remains?) on Sunday, 17-Dec-2006 11:33:19

The name my sister suggested was Isaiah, and my screenreader does not pronounce it correctly. Hehehehe. She reminded me that I like, and always have liked, that name. LOL. It's like Mark said. I used to have this list of names that I'd like to use on my children, but ... as soon as I found out we were having a baby, my mind went blank.

Post 30 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Thursday, 21-Dec-2006 6:49:06

O no. If the dad's name is mark, you don't want to call the son Marcus, because that'll get shortened to Mark as well, as time goes by. I love the boys names Taliesin (pronounced Talison or Talisin) or Parys (pronounced Paris) maybe because I've watched far too much Child Of Our Time on the BBC website. You absolutely don't want to call the baby Thomas or Tom if you live in the UK, as it is number two in the top ten boys names in the UK, so he'll go through life branded "Thomas D" or "Tom D" because there'll be about ten other boys all with the name Thomas in his class at school, which I certainly don't want for my children in the hopefully not-too-distant future, so, my sons are going to be Aled Jonathan and Taliesin Joseph or Taliesin James. I haven't decided which middle name Taliesin'll have yet, and Sirius James. We were talking about names formy Aunt's new baby the other day as it's actually due on Easter Monday, the 9th of April 2007. muy Grandmother wasn't over keen on Parys though, saying it was "tacky" and a lot of young people have the name Parys these days. The baby's two older sisters for example, are Kezia (pronounced Kezzia) 12 and Tegen (pronounced Teggan) 9, and my cousins children in America, are Devon, nearly 8, Tatum, 5 and Brynne, 3, so come on, why not get the baby book out and be inspired, instead of picking the first name from the top of your head?

If you don't end up using Marcus as a first name, the child could still be named Haden Marcus

Post 32 by DixieGirl (I can't call it a day til I enter the zone BBS) on Monday, 08-Jan-2007 23:57:35

Guys,
I like the name Isaiah--IZayuhh--a lot too. It fits well, and spells no words except a file type. >grin>

You know, i kind of like the idea of a junior. Hayden though...Do you really wanna think of PsychoRabbit when you use the middle name Hayden?

Post 34 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Sunday, 14-Jan-2007 13:24:52

I just thought it was a nice name, and Junior is so over done, don't you find?

Post 35 by sorcha (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 25-Jan-2007 21:57:38

Cayden would work too and I love the girls name you've picked out.

Post 36 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Friday, 26-Jan-2007 11:03:01

Cayden for a boy?

Post 37 by Mark (The master of disaster!) on Saturday, 27-Jan-2007 12:29:24

Hello all

We found out that the baby is a she! SO no more names need to be brought forward.

Thanks for the help!

That's a beautiful name, although I really love the middle name over the first name. They are both nice though and together are a lovely combination. And to a previous poster, I know what you mean. I used to love the name cameron. There was the cutest little boy in my kindergardin class named cameron although he might have spelled it Camron and I loved the name for a long time: even picking it for my baby when I'd play house with the other kids in kindergardin and first grade. You understand I chose it because I liked the name, not the little boy who's name it was. Now I've quite lost my liking for it I must admit.
